Case
TextielMuseum – Tilburg

The situation
The TextielMuseum in Tilburg showcases exhibitions in the fields of textile design, design, visual arts, and industrial heritage. Historical themes are alternated with exhibitions on present-day textile developments. In addition to its permanent collection, the TextielMuseum also organizes workshops and activities for a broad and diverse audience.
The challenge
Several locations within the museum lacked an overview and centralized management information. Sales data for admission, the gift shop, and the café were kept separately. During the COVID-19 pandemic, there was also a need to set up online ticket sales for capacity management. This approach was later extended to include reservations and ticket sales for workshops.
The solution
Ticket Team provided POS hardware in combination with XSControl POS and XSControl web sales. This brought all sales streams together into a single system. Online ticket sales were set up for both museum visits and workshops, while the on-site POS systems remained simple and user-friendly for staff.

The result
The TextielMuseum now uses a single centralized solution for all sales and visitor data. Reports are clear and immediately available for both financial and operational purposes. The ticket counters and online sales system are user-friendly, and changes can be implemented quickly. The long-standing partnership and direct communication with both finance and marketing teams enable efficient coordination and tailored solutions.
